For over 140 years, Wella Professionals has been developing innovations and services in hair products that unlock the creative inspiration of hairdressers. The history of the brand begins in the 19th century in Germany with the passion and skills of stylist-waiter Franz Stroher a hairdresser from Saxony, Eastern Germany. The company originally made tulles, the base used for making wigs. In 1890 Franz invented the Tullemoid Waterproof, a technique that allowed the scalp to breathe. In 1894, he opened his first factory in Rothenkirchen, Germany and his sons Karl and George Ströher joined the business soon after.
In 1927, during the Great Getzby period, they instinctively responded to women's desires for beautiful hair and satisfied them by licensing, developing and offering the first permanent curl for the name Wellin. The Wella Waves became a total hit, soaking up the masses of taste and being offered in all hair salons.
This is a major hair care product company with a full portfolio, hairdresser training and a hairdressing magazine of its own. This is how the world sees for the first time the use of the Wella logo.
Today, the Wella brand continues to follow traditions, but is also constantly working towards innovation. Illumina hair dye sets a new standard in dyeing. The Wave Brand supports young artists and talents, even partnering with UNICEF. The creativity of stylists can be seen in the TRENDVISION contests or the ITVA Awards. That is why the hairdressers adore her, and she has worthily taken the most special place - what is in the hearts of coaches and loyal customers.
Orbico Beauty Bulgaria is proud to have such a brand in it`s portfolio.
